September is Attendance Awareness Month
School attendance is a major factor in student academic success. At all grades, students who miss no more than nine days per school year are the most engaged and and on track for graduation. In fact, by 6th grade chronic absenteeism becomes a leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school.
Everyone plays a part in student attendance - families and school staff are in this together. To learn more about promoting good school attendance and how you can help, visit www.attendanceworks.org

ESD is proud to celebrate Flag Day by reflecting on the values and history that our flag represents. As a daily practice, students and staff recite the Pledge of Allegiance reaffirming our commitment to the principles the American flag represents:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
On Flag Day and during National Flag Week, we honor all that the flag means to the American people. No matter how dark the night, Americans will always pursue our Nation’s North Star — our flag will always be there.
Happy Flag Day!

Congratulations to the Enumclaw High School Class of 2024! Graduation is this evening at the King County Fairgrounds.
