June is Pride Month, commemorating the Stonewall Uprising that happened in June 1969, a pivotal event regarding LGBTQ+ rights. Enumclaw School District honors the diversity of our community and recognizes that our differences make us stronger. Hate has no home here.

This Memorial Day, please join the Enumclaw School District as we take a moment to pause and reflect on the extraordinary bravery and selflessness of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Let us strive to honor their legacies in our words and actions, and cherish the freedoms they fought to preserve.
ESD also extends our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the families of fallen heroes. Your strength does not go unnoticed.

Reminder From the District Nurse:
If your student has medications in the Health Room please arrange for pick up before the last day of school. All medications remaining in the Health Room after the last day of school, June 18, 2024, will be disposed of.

Please join Lindsey Marquardt, Director of Teaching and Learning for the Enumclaw School District on May 30, 2024, from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Nancy A. Merrill Boardroom at the District Office for a preview of the curriculum that has been piloted and is recommended by staff for school board approval to be implemented next school year.
Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to see samples of the materials and get information about topics covered in the following courses:
- High School Algebra and Geometry: Imagine Learning, by Illustrative Mathematics

Update: Our phone lines are currently functioning. However, Lumen is still working to resolve underlying issues.
...
We are currently experiencing issues with our outside phone lines. Schools and district offices cannot receive calls from outside lines. Lumen has a technician working to identify and resolve the issue. We currently do not have an ETA for the restoration of service. If parents/families need to contact their school, we recommend using email until this is resolved.

“If community members could see inside of our heart and mind, they would know that we think often about helping their children grow. We come back each day to try again to make a difference.” - Laura Hauswirth, Southwood Elementary School
