The March 2023 School Board General Meeting was a great time of recognition and celebration of students, staff, and curriculum.
Beth Madill, Lissa Strecker and Della Demerjian were recognized by Enumclaw Fire Departments Chief Fehr as recipients of Citizen Life Saving Awards for performing CPR and utilizing an AED when an EMS student collapsed on campus earlier this school year.
EHS Winter athletics coaches and captains were invited and honored for their accomplishments over the last season. As a former wrestler himself, Dr. Carey enthusiastically congratulated Westin Triplett, 2A State Wrestling Champion -160lb; pictured below. Julia Carter, 2A State Gymnastics Champion - Vault was also recognized for her high athletic achievement.
Enumclaw Birth to Five Center Principal Stacy Lucas gave a presentation on the enrollment, programs, staff and students of her building. This included an overview of the differences between and needs of programs such as ECEAP, Transitional Kindergarten, and Developmental Preschool; all of which prepare qualified students for elementary school.
