Safety and Security
Thanks to funding available through the existing Technology Levy, the Technology and Operations teams partnered to evaluate, replace, or repair two-way radios housed in every building across the District. In June 2022 all radios were collected to assess capabilities and make repairs and programming updates as needed. With common programming, radios in our system can move between sites and switch channels to be used interchangeably, which is an important factor in the event of an emergency.
